With the arrival of Benoit Filliers, son of the late Jan Filliers, a new breeze is blowing through the family business, resulting in a name change for their 100% rye whisky, from Sunken Still to the full-fledged Filliers.

To emphasize the message, a new styling and label are chosen. They also decide to release two expressions under the new label: a 5-year-old version and an 8-year-old version. A clear 5 and 8 on the neck of the redesigned rectangular bottle, along with a subtle color difference in the label, make both releases easily distinguishable.

The production is limited to only 2000 bottles of each, and Filliers expects them to sell out quickly. We had the opportunity to taste them, and when it comes to aroma and flavor, Filliers delivers nothing less than excellence. As always, Filliers keeps the price of its rye whisky very accessible.
