Mc Explorer Single Estate 2009 is a unique Port Cask Rum. Bottled on natural colour and the only rum from the House of McCallum collection. A genius vintage expression from 2009 with a beautiful warm aftertaste. A dark color and a nice intense aroma of ripe dates, raisins, dark chocolate and tropical fruit. Beautiful rum with an artistic story. Through a collaboration with The Edinburgh School of Art one creates beautiful works with whiskey or in this case rum. The bottle is provided with a work of art by Gordon Mitchell and was given the name 'Trash'. House of McCallum is a new expression of Anthony McCullum, a Malt Master with 24 years of experience. The rum itself comes from the Caribbean and matured first in American oak barrels and got a finish in ex Porto barrels.
