Single Cask
Single cask whisky is a whisky that is bottled from one and the same cask. This means that the bottle only contains whisky that has matured in one specific cask, rather than a mixture of whisky from different casks. The whisky from each cask is bottled separately, with each bottle containing the corresponding cask number. As each cask is different, a difference in maturation occurs. Each batch of whisky will therefore differ slightly in flavour and have its own character.
