Gold of Mauritius Dark Rum is a brown rum from Mauritius. The rum is produced from a molasses aged for three months in port barrels. It is then aged for another eight to 12 months. The aroma that emerges in the nose comes from dark chocolate and peanuts. You taste a flavour of walnut and sweet chocolate surrounded by peanuts. The finish is fiery with notes of walnut and dark chocolate. Gold of Mauritius Dark Rum has an alcohol content of 40%.
