This Berrys Own Selection is from Glengoyne distillery, a whisky distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2014. It comes from Cask No. #1074. Another fantastic glass from Berry Bros that is matured in first fill Sherry cask and exudes with fig and brown orange peel notes in fruity and sweet notes that are well balanced with oak tannins that blend with syrup in nice balance.

Nose: Matured in a first fill sherry cask, Berry's 2000 exudes fig and brown orange peel notes.
Flavour: Fruity and sweet palate is well balanced with oak tannins mingling with syrup in nice balance.
Glengoyne boasts of being the only distillery that does not use peated barley. Situated near the southern edge of the Trossachs, the distillery sits beautifully at the foot of Dumgoyne Hill, from which a 50 foot waterfall cascades into the grounds.
Berry Bros. & Rudd can trace its origins back to 1698, when Thwow Bourne founded his shop opposite St James's Palace. Today, the current generation of Berrys and Rudds continue to manage the family's shop from 3 St James Street.
