In 1896, liquor merchant John Dewarde bought a piece of land from the Marquis of Breadelbane and built an Aberfeldy distillery there. In 2015, this 16-year-old was added to the Aberfeldy 'The Last Great Malts' range. The whisky matured first in bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks, which added complexity and thickness to the spirit's light and fresh character. A very pleasant whisky with a fine balance of sweet, fruity and spicy notes.
