6th anniversary (esmeralda) is a limited release on the occasion of the 6 anniversary of distillery de Molenberg, after a basic maturation of 30 months on bourbon barrels followed by a long finish of 48 months on madeira wine barrels, the hints of raisins and nuts give this fruity and spicy whisky a seductive elegance, the sweet taste is broken through with a slight acidity and results in a long, rich aftertaste.
