NIkka Super Rare Old

€60,80
Tax included.

Nikka Super Rare Old is a classic Japanese blended whisky with a distinctive retro bottle design and a fascinating connection to the history of Nikka Whisky. First introduced in 1962, it remains one of the producer's most recognisable expressions.

The whisky was created by Nikka founder Masataka Taketsuru, one of the key figures in the development of Japanese whisky.

Smooth and Characterful Japanese Whisky

The nose offers an inviting combination of ripe fruit, vanilla and caramel, complemented by malt, gentle spice and subtle smoky nuances.

On the palate, Nikka Super Rare Old is rounded and approachable. Sweet fruit and vanilla develop alongside caramel, malt and warming spice, while a delicate smoky character provides additional complexity.

The finish is smooth and warming, with lingering malt, spice and oak.

A Nikka Whisky with History

Beyond its flavour, Super Rare Old is particularly interesting because of its long history within the Nikka portfolio. Its distinctive bottle and classic presentation make it instantly recognisable among Japanese whisky enthusiasts.

Enjoy it neat, over ice or in a traditional Japanese Whisky Highball.
