Bowmore Vault Edition (First Release)
Bowmore Vault Edition First Release is a limited Islay single malt created to explore key characteristics of Bowmore's distinctive house style.
The First Release places particular emphasis on the maritime side of Bowmore, combining the distillery's characteristic peat smoke with pronounced coastal influences.
Atlantic Sea Salt and Islay Smoke
The aroma reveals sea salt, coastal air and peat smoke, balanced by citrus and subtle sweetness.
On the palate, maritime salinity combines with smoke, fruit and gentle sweetness. Oak and spice add further complexity before a long, smoky and coastal finish.
Inspired by Bowmore's No.1 Vaults
Bowmore's legendary No.1 Vaults sit close to the shores of Loch Indaal and form an important part of the distillery's identity.
Vault Edition First Release is therefore an attractive bottle for Bowmore enthusiasts, Islay whisky drinkers and collectors of discontinued or limited-edition Scotch whisky.
