€325,00
Tax included.

Ledaig 1996 – Connoisseurs Choice is a beautifully matured peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery, selected and bottled by the esteemed independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail.
Distilled in 1996, this expression showcases Ledaig’s signature coastal smoke, earthy depth, and vibrant fruit characteristics, all intensified by decades of careful cask maturation. The Connoisseurs Choice series emphasises individuality, with each vintage release chosen for its unique character and balance.

A rare and collectible Ledaig, this release is beloved for its fusion of Islay-style peat, maritime influence, Highland sweetness, and long oak maturation.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Smouldering peat smoke, sea spray, lemon peel, damp oak, earthy malt, and hints of leather, orchard fruit, and subtle spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex with layers of smoky embers, salted caramel, honeyed malt, citrus zest, dried seaweed, pepper, and warm oak tones. Rich and evolving with every sip.

Finish: Long, smoky, and maritime with lingering peat, spice, briny notes, sweet malt, and mature oak.
