Speyside
Speyside whisky is many aficionados' favourite v Scotch whisky lover. The leading single malts in all of Scotland come from here. A relatively small region compared to the Highlands or Lowlands, but with world-renowned allure
Speyside single malt whiskies tend to be sweeter in flavour compared to other Scottish single malts with influences ranging from sultanas to fruity ripe pears. The sweetness comes from the sherry-aged wooden casks. Hints of nuts and malt are common, but in some single malts you can taste a delicate smokiness.
