GlenAllachie 15 Year Old represents the heart of Billy Walker’s vision for the reborn Speyside distillery. Matured predominantly in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons, the whisky develops incredible depth, delivering layers of dried fruit, dark chocolate, spice, and rich oak.
Additional nuances from virgin oak and red wine barriques create complexity and structure, resulting in a beautifully rounded dram.
The nose opens with raisins, figs, honeycomb, treacle, and espresso notes, while the palate is thick and indulgent with flavours of sherry-soaked fruit, cocoa, orange peel, nutmeg, and sweet spice. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colour, this expression focuses entirely on flavour purity. The finish is long and warming with lingering chocolate, dried fruit, and subtle oak tannins.
