Writers Tears Double Oak is a beautiful light brown whisky from Ireland. This version is a fusion of two different maturation styles. One part has been aged in American bourbon barrels and the other in French oak barrels from the Cognac region. This fusion gives rise to an extremely pleasant aroma of vanilla and a spicy undertone of cinnamon. Followed by pear and plum that give it a sweet touch. Its taste is also of a fruity nature but more in the citrus corner. Tones that go perfectly with its pressed grape flavour! Its finish is long with chocolate undertones and a varied selection of spices. This whisky has an alcohol content of 46%.
