Pisco & Grappa

Pisco is a South American spirit-rich drink. Pisco also represents many disputes between the neighbouring countries of Chile and Peru. Pisco has a number of different styles. Chilean Pisco is characterised by the almost exclusive use of the Muscat grape variety and a classification based on alcohol content: Regular, Special Reserve and Large. Peruvian Pisco is made from a single distillation and from different grape varieties; it is classified according to flavour: aromatico, puro and acholado. It often has a rustic character.
