Waterford Bannow Island 1.2 is a proud part of the Single Farm Origin series from this Irish distillery. The single malt whisky (they write this without an 'e') they make is made from a single harvest of barley from one farm in the distillery's local area. Unique characteristics of the local area, such as the climate and the type of soil on which the barley grows, form the basis of this whisky and also the series.

Fresh notes of lemon fill the nose with hints of barley and vanilla in the background. Citrus flavours open in the mouth with hints of cereal, chocolate biscuits, sultanas, pepper and a sharp touch of cranberries. Oak, fruit and mint intermingle on the finish.
