McIslay – American Oak Casks is a characterful Islay blended malt crafted by House of McCallum, known for their artisanal, art-inspired whisky releases. This expression brings together several classic Islay malt components, all matured in American oak casks, resulting in a beautiful combination of maritime smoke, sweet vanilla, toasted oak, and subtle fruit tones.
The whisky balances approachable sweetness with unmistakable Islay peat — offering a smoky yet smooth malt suitable both for Islay fans and those exploring peat for the first time. As with all House of McCallum whiskies, it reflects artistry in both flavour profile and presentation.

Tasting Notes

Palate: Smooth peat smoke with flavours of charred vanilla, sweet malt, toasted coconut, lemon zest, warm spice, and gentle maritime notes. Well-rounded and lightly oily.
