What Is the Devil's Cut?

During maturation, bourbon moves in and out of the charred American oak as temperatures change. Some of that whiskey penetrates deep into the barrel staves and remains trapped in the wood after the barrel has been emptied.

Jim Beam extracts this flavour-rich bourbon from the wood and combines it with mature Kentucky Straight Bourbon, creating the distinctive character of Devil's Cut.

The nose delivers generous aromas of charred oak, vanilla and caramel, accompanied by hints of spice and toasted wood.
