Our independence lets us apply age-old craft to new whisky-making techniques. Glenfiddich Rich Oak is a 14 year old single malt delicately finished for up to 12 weeks in new Americans and new Spanish oak casks. Alive with flavour, new oak needs precision handling by our Malt master, Brian Kinsman, who understands exactly how quickly young wood interacts with our whisky. His expertise, and that of our coopers who have personally sourced and made our new oak casks in Louisville and Jerez, deliver just the right amount of extra flavours; creamy vanilla, a soft toffee sweetness and spicy oak with layers of ripe summer fruit, creating a rich and complex single malt.
