Glencadam American Oak Reserva is an amber-coloured single malt whisky distilled in the Highland region of Scotland. This version has been allowed to spend some time in former bourbon casks from the State of Kentucky, made from American oak. It features the wonderfully sweet aromas of vanilla and soft butter mixed with the fruity notes of orchard fruits, sultanas and just a hint of Turkish fruit. Its flavour kicks off with a light tone of poached pear, accompanied by the floral notes of apple blossoms and acacia honey. You will also find roasted chestnuts and the slightly bitter notes of lemon peel along with mocha. It is rounded off by a sweet finish full of cooked fruits, white grapes and a savoury tone of apple crumble custard that slowly softens until only a peppery note remains. Glencadam American Oak Reserva has an alcohol content of 40%.
