The second bottling in the legendary Stills series was the Redder Still. The name was inspired by the whisky's colour, created by its nine-month finish in barrels from Château Lafleur (one of the top Bordeaux wines from the Pomerol appellation). After distillation in 1984, the whisky matured first in first-fill bourbon casks; at bottling in 2007, 4080 bottles were bottled at 50.4% cask strength. Redder Still is a very lush and complex Bruichladdich with lots of fruitiness.
