Auchentoshan Three Wood is a signature Lowland single malt matured in three different cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, and rich Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The result is a whisky full of dark fruit sweetness, toffee, chocolate notes, and silky texture, making it one of the most beloved expressions in the Auchentoshan range. Tasting Notes
Nose: Dark cherries, raisins, rich sherry sweetness, caramel, vanilla, toasted nuts, and hints of cinnamon.
Palate: Silky and full-bodied with flavours of chocolate, treacle, plum, sultanas, sweet malt, toffee, and warm spice. The PX influence adds rich dried fruits and dessert-like depth.
