Glenrothes 11 Year Old Gordon & Macphail

G&M Discovery Glenrothes 11 Years is a beautiful amber coloured whiskey, originating from Scotland and distilled by Glenrothes . The end result is a rich single malt whisky with a soft, spicy aroma of butter mixed with cinnamon and a thick layer of toffee. These are quickly followed by a spicy note of roasted malt and dried fruit. Its taste is sweet with many sherry characteristics. This begins with a wave of forest fruit jams, underpinned by a savory taste of toast and stewed orchard fruit sprinkled with cinnamon. These slowly sink away and give way to a strong presence of orange peel and a hint of raisins. This whisky from the Discovery range has an alcohol content of 43%.
