With the introduction of Selección de Familia, Diplomático continues to expand its range. This new cuvée for true aficionados was developed by the two maestros roneros (rum masters) Tito Cordero and Nelson Hernandez. It is a blend of rums made mainly from sugar cane honey (90%) and molasses. The rum was distilled in a copper pot still and batch kettle and matured in used bourbon and sherry casks. When tasting it, it is hard not to fall for the intense aromas of vanilla, caramel, red fruits and oak.
