Clynelish 1997 Cask Ref. 4050 Berry's

The Clynelish distillery is located in the small fishing and golf resort of Brora, on the North Sea coast of beautiful Sutherland. The whisky is popular with malt drinkers who like spicy whisky because of its complementary spicy flavours. The nose initially offers spices with a little bit of peat smoke. Eventually, honey, vanilla and fruit notes come to the fore. There is a captivating depth in this whisky. The palette comes to life with fruit and spices before a salty note appears. The aftertaste is long, with warming pepper and lasting charm.
