Ardbeg Corryvreckan takes its name from a famous whirlpool located in the water on the north coast of Islay. This single malt whisky is known as the most medicinal whisky in Ardbeg's core range, powerful, complex and distinct in flavour where house style characteristics come together with rich, medicinal hints. Ardbeg Corryvreckan is bottled at 57.1% alcohol.

Aromas of charcoal and linseed oil develop into hints of dark chocolate, berries and muscovado sugar. Around this you will find complex notes of cherries, pine needles, vanilla and spices. Pepper flavours open on the palate with pronounced hints of seaweed. This gradually progresses to espresso, dark fruit and bitter almonds. The finish is long, dry and spicy with a hint of smoke.
