The Demon's Share Rum 6 Year Old
The Demon's Share is a rum of sugar cane molasses, distilled in the pure tradition of the Spanish style (continuous distillation), in American oak barrels that have been refilled for 6 long years. The use of an endemic yeast to modify the juice turns it into a particularly aromatic nectar. El Diablo uses up to 10% of the liquid in its barrels which until now were reserved for "the part of angels". The indigenous people now evoke "the share of El Diablo". Colour: Intense amber with golden accents. Nose: Subtle intensity with tones dominated by vanilla. Citrus, a hibiscus tip, green apple, wood. Taste: Woody notes that considerably reduce the vanilla coming from the nose. Round with sweet spices, citrus notes, good wood and light leather. Finale: Very persistent and chocolaty with an original personality.
