Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey

€61,00
Tax included.

This Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey is a rare and beautifully crafted limited release from the Wicklow-based Glendalough Distillery. Bottled from Cask No. 6, part of Batch 2, and identified as Bottle No. 376, this whiskey is a unique expression that highlights Ireland’s native oak and traditional pot still production.

Each release in this series is matured in virgin Irish oak, with every tree individually numbered — in this case, Tree No. 1. These forests are sustainably managed, and each bottle can be traced back to the exact Irish oak tree used to craft the cask. This gives the whiskey a truly Irish identity, rooted both in place and tradition.

Nose

Rich and aromatic with honey, vanilla, sweet spices, toasted oak, and orchard fruits. Hints of apricot, cinnamon, and Irish oak resin lift the aroma.

Palate

Creamy and full-bodied. Notes of sweet malt, warm spice, caramel, ripe pears, clove, and toasted wood. The virgin Irish oak imparts vibrant spice, herbal tones, and a pleasant warmth unique to this series.

Finish

Long, warming, and spicy with lingering oak tannins, honeyed sweetness, and gentle pot still spice.
