J.R. Brillet is the owner of the 65-hectare Maison Brillet, located in the Grande Champagne department between the Cognac region and the banks of the Charente river in Petit Champagne. The vineyards here produce the finest wines, spirits and other delights. The family business not only has a complete line of drinks, but also chocolates and promotional gifts. In 1656, the first hands were laid on what is known today as Brillet's double-distilled cognacs. In 1850, the company expanded with several vineyards and production was moved to a site on the banks of the Charente River where the company is still based today.
